Utility Companies Priority Services Register for vulnerable people

Interruptions to supplies of water , gas or electricity occur occasionally, and in such instances the supplier has a responsibility to safeguard the welfare of  vulnerable people and to provide help in the fisrt instance. 

Know your emergency numbers - in a power cut call 105 from your mobile or landline or, for a gas emergency, diall 0800 111999.

How to register for our Priority Services

Registering for our free Priority Services is easy. You can join our register by: 

  • Calling us on 0800 2943259 and register over the phone. 
  • Clicking here and fill out our easy online form. 
  • Or downloading the information booklet below, filling out the application form and sending it to us by post using our freepost address.

Supply interruption support

We may need to carry out some work in or around your home, and may have to disconnect your gas supply. If there is a supply interruption and you’re a listed Priority Service Register (PSR) customer we’ll provide you with temporary heating and cooking appliances within four hours to make sure you stay warm and can have a hot meal.

How to join the Priority Services Register

You can register for our services by using the online registration form or by calling 0344 346 1010 or minicom 0800 169 9965 (Text Relay is also available). You can also request a copy of our Priority Services Registration form by calling us.

Wessex Water Plc

If you have particular requirements due to your age, ill health, a disability, mental illness or additional needs, register for Priority Services (formerly Customer Care Plus) so that we can take this into account.
